Draft Minutes of the meeting held December 13, 2021

• The Council was called to order at 8.00 PM by GK Brian Clair
• The prayer was offered and the pledge recited.
• The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
• Grand Knight: The Grand Knight thanked everyone involved in the very successful clothing drive, pot-luck dinner, and magnet sales.
• Chaplain: Today is the feast of St. Lucy, Martyr. Since her eyes were torn out during her martyrdom she is depicted with eyes on a plate as an offering to God. What are we afraid to give to Jesus? Often, what He wants.
• The Treasurer reported a balance and the Financial Secretary agreed.
• Old/Unfinished Business:
• The Clothing Drive completed with over 800 items distributed among the Coatesville VA, St. Agnes Day Room, Mission Youth (Kensington), Safe Harbor (West Chester), St. Rocco's Sarnelli House (Philadelphia) and Community Youth and Women's Alliance (Coatesville).
• A check was given to the Treasurer from the sale of magnets.
• The Pot Luck Dinner was very successful with 34 attendees.
• Sign-up sheets are in the Narthexes for the March for Life on January 21.
• New Business:
• A motion was approved to send funds to the Franklin, Tennessee Council for the "We Want God" magnets which were included in the Christmas magnet sales.
• A motion was approved to send funds to each parish for Christmas. This included Council funds and a donation from the Truitt family in memory of George Truitt.
• District Deputy: Gordon Jefferies presented a "Founders Award" plaque to GK Brian Clair in recognition of our Council meeting its insurance quota for the past fraternal year.
